Singer, Actor, Songwriter, Director and Writer Juan Pablo Di Pace was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and moved to Europe when he was 17. He lived in London for 10 years, in Madrid for 4 years and currently resides in the U.S. and speaks fluent Spanish, Italian and English. With an extensive music background, Juan Pace is considered a “triple-threat” in Europe,as a musician and having played leading roles in musicals such as Grase (Italy, 1999) and Saturday Night Fever (Spain, 2009) before bringing his talent to the U.S. appearing in such hits as “Fuller House,” “A.D. The Bible Continues” and “Mamma Mia.”
On the music side, Juan Pablo Di Pace’s success began in Spain where he released the track “We Wanna Rock” through the Globo Music label. The song was a #1 hit on the Spanish iTunes charts and soon after Juan Pablo released his first full length album of songs from his one man show “Primer Acto.” Recently, he has worked with writer/producers Diane Warren, Desmond Child and Konrad Snyder (amongst others) and has headlined concerts at New York’s 54 Below, at the EL CID in Los Angeles, at the Nuevo Teatro Alacalá in Madrid and at the Velma Cafe Theatre in Buenos Aires.
Now in 2018, Juan Pablo begins a new chapter with his single and video “Broken,” with music written by Juan Pablo and Josh Olsen and the video directed by Juan Pablo. “Broken”is the first song from Di Pace’s forthcoming EP of original tracks which is set for release in 2018.
As an actor, Juan Pablo is best known in the US for playing the role of Jesus Christ on “A.D. The Bible Continues,” (produced by Mark Burnett and Roma Downey) for which he won a GRACE Award for “Most Inspiring Performance” in 2016; for the role of self-made billionaire Nicolás Treviño on TNT’s reboot of “Dallas” (2014) and for his role in the movie “Mamma Mia” (2008.) Currently, Juan Pablo can be found playing nut-job Fernando on Netflix’s #1 show “Fuller House”which has won a multitude of awards including the People’s Choice Award, Kids Choice and Teen Choice Awards for Seasons 1 and 2.
Di Pace has made several appearances on British and Spanish television including the BBC One comedy “The Catherine Tate Show,” “Aftersun,””New Tricks”and “River City,” His 2005 movie debut was in the film “Survival Island” alongside Billy Zane before garnering many roles in Spain with performances in “Supercharly,” “Angel o Demonio,” “Los Hombres de Paco,” “El Don de Alba” and “Física o Química”.
